The Process

So you’re ready to tint your vehicle’s windows? Excellent. The first thing to do is give us a call on 6334 9484 and ask for a quote. We’re sure our competitive prices, great range of products and professional installation processes will deliver the results you’re after; results that will have heads turning when you drive by.

When you deliver your vehicle to us for tinting we take it into a sealed room to reduce the possibility of dust affecting the finished result. If you have already had tinted windows fitted the film will be removed. Your windows are cleaned, and the new film is applied to the inside of your windows. Please note that it is illegal to have a tinted windscreen. The newly applied film is then left to dry. Typically, we’ll need your car for around half a day.

Your window must remain closed for at least 24 hours after installation.

Like all products that use adhesive, the adhesive must cure to achieve a proper bond to the glass. Once the adhesive has cured, your windows will look very much as though they have been factory-tinted. You may see some changes in the appearance of the film while it is curing. Changes are normal at this time. Although the film appears perfect at first, you may see it become hazy and milky, or develop an "orange peel affect" or even large bubbles. This is quite normal, and should not cause alarm. After curing, these apparent imperfections will disappear.

Curing takes from three to 30 days, depending on the weather, humidity and the amount of sunlight falling on the glass. As you would expect, curing tends to be faster in summer and slower in winter.
Above all, do not touch the film until curing is complete.
A few small particles or "points" may remain. They are usually visible only from the outside and are inherent in film adhesive. Any such points do not affect the performance of life of the film in any way.
